Pitch2Grow Moree

It’s time to Pitch and Grow new enterprises

INNOVATIVE concept Pitch2Grow is calling for expressions of interest from people in the Moree, Narrabri and Inverell districts.

The call-out is for entrepreneurs who have new business ideas, products or services, or a new enterprise they can promote in a pitch format.

Pitch2Grow, a University of New England Smart Region Incubator project supported by the NSW Government Boost Business Innovation Fund, gives start-ups and established enterprises the opportunity to “pitch” their business and concept ideas.

UNE SRI regional connector, Sheree Cayirylys, said participants will gain assistance in learning how to pitch and create a professional pitch deck.

“They will gain exposure for their business or business idea, and potentially win a judges or people’s choice prize,” Sheree said.

The Pitch2Grow event aims to help grow and support businesses and innovation in our region.”

The Pitch2Grow 2025 Expressions of Interest are via the QR Code below and due by March 1.

The event will be held at Social Co House on Balo Street from 6pm to 8pm on Friday, May 2, 2025.

“Registrations to be part of the audience will be released at a later date,” Sheree said.

“Pitch2Grow is an opportunity for visionaries, entrepreneurs, and dreamers from diverse backgrounds – it’s not only an event, it’s a journey.”

There will also be expert pitch-coaching prior, where participants will receive pitch-coaching, personalised mentoring and support to refine presentation skills.

“Participants are invited to take the stage and pitch business or ground-breaking ideas,” Sheree said. “They will receive invaluable feedback from mentors who have walked the path to success.”

The event aims to open windows to expand networks, connect with fellow innovators, potential investors and future customers.

“Pitch2Grow aims to build confidence, and gain the assurance needed to propel business ideas forward, and to raise awareness and create a buzz,” Sheree said.
