Moree mixed farmer Rebecca Reardon was elected unopposed as the incoming president of NSW Farmers at the organisation’s annual conference on Tuesday, July 21, 2026.

Reardon brings more than 25 years of experience across agriculture and agribusiness, having held leadership and directorship roles throughout the sector.

She has been a longstanding advocate for farmers through NSW Farmers, serving as Chair of the Grains Committee, Executive Councillor, Treasurer and, most recently, Vice President.

NSW Farmers said Reardon would lead the organisation as it continued representing and advocating for farmers across the state.

Her election places a Moree producer at the head of an organisation representing farmers from a range of agricultural industries across New South Wales.

NSW Farmers also acknowledged outgoing president Xavier Martin, thanking him for his contribution over the past 30 years.

Moree Online News will update this article following an interview with Ms Reardon.
