Motorcyclist missing between Goondiwindi and Gayndah

UPDATED February 16: A 45-year-old woman reported missing while travelling on a motorcycle between Goondiwindi and Gayndah has been located deceased. The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating. Media and the public are thanked for their assistance with the search.

PRIOR: Queensland Police are asking motorists travelling between Goondiwindi and Gayndah for assistance to help locate a missing 45-year-old woman.

The woman has been missing since February 14, when last seen in Moree, and is believed to have last been travelling between Goondiwindi and Gayndah, possibly via Dalby, on a Black Yamaha motorcycle with NSW registration MZN96.

Police are appealing to the woman, or anyone with information about her whereabouts or signs of a motorcycle accident between those locations to immediately contact police.
